Wayne Quint, President of AOCDS said, “On behalf of the 1,850 men and women of AOCDS, I am delighted beyond words to be selected as the charitable recipient of Cruisin’ for the Good Life.” The AOCDS Memorial Fund is a vital tool in financially assisting Orange County deputy sheriffs and their families who are injured or killed in the line of duty. The Fund also purchases rehabilitative equipment, transportation services, medical supplies and other resources to assist in the recovery of injured deputy sheriffs and police officers. In addition, the Fund buys toys and clothing during the holidays for children of slain deputy sheriffs and awards $20,000 of scholarship money annually to ten graduating high school seniors.
